The next kind of flat roof is the liquid membrane. Liquid membrane is commonly known as the rubber membrane. The mechanism of this roofing is that it provides a water proof coating to your flat roof. Not only that, it also serves as a protection for your roofing to be free from heat and other forms and causes of roof penetration. This is ideal to make your roofing last longer than expected. The longevity is being highlighted because of its ability to protect the roofing from all other causes that may lead to damage. Also, this material is flexible since it is just being applied on the surface of your roof.
Lastly, the bitumen roofing . This kind of roofing is commonly known as the mastic asphalt. Bitumen roofing can give you a lot of benefits. Some of which are its fire resistant feature. It has the ability to resist fire and thermal shock. It is durable and strong enough to resist massive heat and even possesses a waterproof ability. This material is available in rolls whish can be installed using hot or cold applications, can be self adhesive and can be installed through the use of torched seams.
